Experience
I have been tutoring since 2005, and so far I taught in Russia, England, and now Japan. I mostly help people with mathematics, statistics, and Russian Language, and sometimes with some more unique subjects such as academic Russian (math) and experiment and questionnaire design. I enjoy teaching, especially in one-to-one settings. My main goal as a tutor I find not in explaining a particular problem, but in helping students to develop their own way of solving it. I am also a professional teacher of Russian as a foreign language. The common misconception is that any native speaker can teach their language. I would argue with that. The ability to see your own language through the "eyes" of a foreigner is a skill that takes time and learning. I have a qualification and already more than 10 years of experience helping students from different countries who learn Russian by themselves, at Universities, or need Russian at work. I can teach not only general Russian but academic and business Russian as well.

Hobbies
I love foreign languages, science, and art in all its forms - music, visual art, literature. I have lived in 3 countries - Russian, the UK, Japan. This experience helps me to understand people from different cultures and appreciate our differences. I love nature and I am in constant search of how I can personally be better and kinder to it by changing how I live, consume, and spend my time.
